Is this a good price?

I am being sold a 6-bolt complete block for $400 from a 90 talon, is is a good price or not?

Does it run? How many miles? But over all that is pretty goo for a complete engine.

Did you hear it run before it was pulled?

How large a warranty does it have?

How well do you know the seller?

it's $400 for the bottom end, the engine i don't know how many miles it has, he told me he took it out of a running DSM he bought( he has 2) and put in his wich was already built, the previous owner was not much of a racer and he does want to keep the engine so it must work, he's going to check the pumps and seals and call me so i can go see it's condition and such.

What should i look for damage wise?

Are you going to be rebuilding the engine or using it as is? If you are going to be rebuilding it then you could find a wrecked one for a much lower cost.
