Another piece of advice, you said you ran new line from tank to rail...make sure its e85 compatible. I made the mistake of using jegs regular ss line and within a few days e85 had started eating away the line and clogging the filter. You need teflon or ptfe line. That or utilize the Oem line. I have a friend running the stock line for over yrs with e85 on a holset and not had any issues the Oem line can flow enough fuel for 500hp+ and its solid metal for 95% of it so e85 isn't going to eat it away.

I am using one of earls top of the line braided hose. I think it said meth compatible but I will look into it. I have a fuel lab stainless steel mesh fuel filter that I will be checking as well.

I am in the process of installing this company's products. $3.49/ft for PTFE line is hard to beat.

Thanks alot guys most all nfo here was helpful and from the looks off it more than 1person benifitted from this thread.
Im going to try to get my 1000cc injectors in today if I can find the time. I have 3 e85 stations within 5 miles of me.
I ran the car almost completly out of gas so I could switch over. So looks like ill need to go fill a gas can with e85 then k can drive it to the station.
Before you drop the money on those 1000cc injectors, what are your plans for the car? I ask because back in early 2008 when I converted to E85 I bought 950's thinking, "this will be plenty of injector". Well, I was right, however, I wasn't thinking of down the road and because of that I had to spend the money twice. Once on a set of 950's and then, when I decided I wanted to upgrade turbos, which I'm sure you will too since the 16g is the "shoe-in" for turbo upgrades, I had to buy another set of injectors. If had just stepped back and though about room for growth I would have spent 2/3rds less on injectors and I'd have more money in my pocket or into my car...

To make a long story short, 1000cc injectors WILL support your 16g airflow on E85, however, anything bigger than a 16g and you'll be shopping for bigger injectors... again.

Gofer the goal for the car is 800+ once the other motor im building is togethrf and in. I do need a set of 2150s but dont have the coin for a set right now. I already have the 1000s a buddy upgraded and gave me his old ones.
I agree with you hat anyone who has link or a way to conmpensate for large injectorsst what their ling term goak needs to step back and think about what th long term goal for the car is and buy the biggest injectors they can.

Put my 1000s injectors in today and filled the car with e85. also turned boost down to 25. The car pulls alot harder on less boost and e85 and a quick base map I made, than what it did on pump and tuned. Cant wait to tune it on e85. It night and day difference all ready. Thanks h+gg

So far the PTFE lines seem to be holding up. No leaks and the fliter isn't clogged.
