Evo vs sti

my buddy has both of them souped up and we raced and the sti kills the evo off the line and maybe up to like 115-120 but the evo blows it away top end. is this true in real life that an sti is that much quicker?

in real life, the sti spec c owns the evo, as much as I hate to say it, look at some of the best mtoroing vids and youll see.

Sti is for the straights, where the EVO is in the corners. Thats true for the game and real life. STi is harder to launch than the EVO. However, if you get the STi to launch properly, it is see ya Evo.

In the game i think the STI is a better car imo. In real life. Imo the EVO is better though.

True the FQ-400 is only in the UK but still it will own the Spec-C anyday. I think also the FQ-300 or 320 (not really sure which is out there for sure ) will be beat the Spec -C not own it but beat it none the less....But wow the Spec -C is such a great car 2 (dont tell people I said that ).....

I would take the EVO any day in the game n off. In the game STi= ####n sucks at handling, so i sold that piece n got a R34 GT-R

In gt4, fully modified, i got my mr to run 9.1s and my spec c to run 8.2

my opinion is the EVO is always the better choice of the two no matter what. it looks better its more agressive and has better handling than the STi. sure the STi is a nice car but look where its heading (2006's) BUTT UGLY . and the new EVO IX is a sweet ass car. as for the game well lets face it its not real life but GT4 comes damn close...

+ sourced lead me to believe that the new 06 sti is in fact built in subarus indiana plant, not in fuji japan anymore, no more good cars from subaru, I mean, the sti motor wasnt that good to begn with with all the horro stories of it blowing up with a coupel mods but the car is way more better looking and better equipped than the evo, plus the 06 has a crummy 41/59 split avaialble through their dccd, whilst the 04-05 had a crazy 65% rear / 35% front distribution.

but in terms of teh jdm, sti rules supreme.
