Evo Seats

Well i'm not sure how long it's been or if anyone posted anything about it happening... but I finally got the Evo 8 seats in my 1G. Got custom rails an they fit so nice! The only bad thing i have is the foam sticks out on each side by the door an pushes on it.. nothing to bad just a nuisance. But i'm hoping after time they will contour to the door an it will be ok. Heres some pics and i'll try and get a write-up for it on the weekend, enjoy.

Looks good but I don't care for the blue in the middle of the seats. But it has to be an improvement over the stockers.

Yea the blue I dont care for either but I got a good deal on em an o yea what a major improvement from teh stockers!!! eesshh is you only saw them!

Wear did you get them and is it just 1G's or will they work for 2G's? They look nice where did you make the rails at?

I got the rails custom from this guy in California named Wedge Enginering or something PM if you want the address an number. He makes all custom brackets for Recaros.

The rails were 120 for both, and the seats ran me 500.

They provide excellent support! My suspensions completly stock an with the old seats if I took a nice turn I would feel like I was comin out of the seat. Not with the evo seats I love em.

Nice, the evo 9 seats look very nice because they do not have the pattern in the middle. I do not hate the pattern, I just prefer a less "flashy" design.

I'm sure a bunch of people would either A sell them on ebay or B check Evolutionm.net in there classifieds, im sure you can find em somewhere.

Are they not just modeled after a set of recaros any ways? I am sure recaro sells a seat thats the same as the ones in the evo.. Only difference is it wont be a seat form an evo, and probably cost less.

I found some on evolutionm.net and a guy wanted $950 for the pair, unless he was also selling the rear bench. They seem to be quite expensive, but with the gray insert, they would look great with my dark gray/charcoal dash. Now all I need is the money.

As stated above yea you should also look at recaros website im sure they have that seat just named different as its from the dealer not from Mitsubishi.
