I have two evo propsoprt gauges (oil pressure, water temp) and i have no clue on how to wire these things up.

The most that i read on here is how to give them power but not how to wire the sensors in to the gauges.

Also where is a good place to tap for water temp sensor?

Any help would he greatly appreciated!

i just got my prosport OP gauge put in yesterday. look on the sender itself. it should say G & WK. G is for the wire that sends the readings to the gauge and WK is the ground. post a picture of the wires that come out of the gauge. but for my OP gauge, black is ground, red is power, white is for the the gauge to light up white, green is for the sender that reads the pressure, and orange or amber colored wire is a differant color for the gauge like green or somthing. run the ground wire from the gauge to the WK terminal on the sender and ground it. now run the green wire from the gauge to the G terminal on the sender. now all thats left is power.... i have my gauges lit up in white so i ran the red and white wires to power. just fined where you want to mount it. and you goldin.

I hope this helps you out. good luck!

I have 3 ProSport EVO gauges and he hit it dead on.

I tapped into my thermostat housing for the water temp gauge. I don't know if yours has it but there was an unused port on there.

Thank you! I have it kinda of figured it out now, but do the gauge and sensor share the same ground or two separate grounds?

for the oil pressure i grounded mine to the frame right near the sensor so i wouldnt have to run a wire all the wire all the way back. did the same thing with the coolant temp sensor and grounded it to the mounting bolt for the thermostat housing

So i can power both gauges using the same source? Like powering the sensor and to light it up? Or am i wrong

Yes. Both of my gauges, the boost sensor and Wideband module are in the passenger cabin. All feeding from the same power source (keyed power, like the radio circuit). For your sensors, it might be easier to find a power source under the hood, since that is where your sensors will be mounted. Keyed power, not constant 12v so you don't cause a parasitic load.
