Alright here's my problems, i got my manifold and o2. I have a RRE DP for a 1st Gen and of coure the o2 doesnt fit the DP, it just misses. What would be the best solution return o2 and get a 2nd gen ported or keep the o2 and get the DP fitted?

Also for the EVo III Manifold what side has to be grinded a bit for it to fit propperly? Anyones info will be appreciated thanks

RRE sells a DP specifically for the EVO o2 housings. Call them up and maybe you can swap it

Thats exactly what im doing. Make sure you ask for the evo3 Flang. Awwww i love RRE

My EVOIII mani fit perfectly without having to be ground down. The O2 has a slightly different angle. You have to make the holes on the downpipe a bit bigger to fit it. Use a dremel to make them bigger. I believe the 2n'd gen ones have the same problem.

Thanks everyone, I'ma hit up Turbotrix and see if they have a flange and can do it. If not ill just call RRE, my DP is brandnew still never been used hopefully theylll do it for me.

Thanks

Agreed my mani. went on with no grinding and maintains a perfect seal...

Where did you read/hear about having to grind down the manifold (interested)

other people on the forum, did a search to research some things. People said sometimes it woudlnt fit right so they had to grind the corner a bit to get it to fit. I hope it just goes right on. I'ma call up rre and see if they can flange my DP for me if i send it back. Tubrotrix told me to do that.. i could dremmel the side out but might as well have it done right.

Heard that like the slotted rottors from RRE site that it puts strain on the Flex section. Dunno just gonna cut the flange off get the Evo flange and get it done right.

Fly up to Northern Va and I wills how you where a 2g or evo manifold needs to be ground down to fit when being put on a 1g. Or you could just search around and you'll notice that it has been mentioned many times.
