i don't know if they'll bolt to your car but i know the evo brembo's bolt on to the 99+ galant/eclipse knuckles.

i had a set on my car.

i know some galant owners(99+) swapped in the rear knuckles from 2g to convert their drum brakes to discs...?

So.. your saying that i can take the knuckles off of a 3g and put them on a 2g gsx and use the brembo's??

i can't say for sure on the fronts but i think the rears you can.

i have an entire awd swap...i'll compare the rear knuckles and post what i find.

The problem is in the front, not the rears. You can bolt Brembos on to the rear without any hassle. It's the front that's a problem. But please, do find out for us. I'm very interested to see if I can go to a junkyard and pull the knuckles off a car for cheap.

The evo brakes will bolt on to the 3G knuckle w/o problems but you cant swap the knuckles to your 2G. The knuckles are different between both cars. Most of the 3G guys dont do because they have to buy new set of wheels with the right offset in order to fit the brembos, thats from what i been reading.

There's no easy way around this. It'll take patience and money (two things most DSM'ers have none of) but you need those knuckles for it to work.

There are brackets you can buy for like 200 bucks or less to bolt on Mustang cobra brakes... This is probably a cheaper and easier way to go?
13" rototrs, and 4 piston calipers..

Some 17 wheels can fit but you have to have the right offset and maybe, the wheel design might clear the calipers. Itll be better to go with 18s with a 35 or lower offset but im not really sure. There was another member who try using 18 wiht a 35 offset, and the wheel was hitting the calipers.... so you have to be really sure on the offset before you buy all 4 wheels. I forgot the name of the member but i think he went to a 15-20 offset. ill need to fing the thread where he was doing the install.

It sounds like it all comes down to someone trying the wheels with this setup. I think my odds of finding a set of wheels that fit with this setup, would be to find ones that fit on the Evo.

Does this fitting issue due to the calipers happen on all wheels or just the front ones? I'm planning on doing the Evo brakes swap, I've searched evolutionm.net forums for wheels that clear the calipers and I think that it'll be hard to find wheels that clear them and don't rub the rear knuckles/fenders... If the rear calipers aren't as troublesome to clear, I can just use spacers in the front wheels and call it a day.
