EVO 9 pistons

i know that this is a very dumb question. i have evo 9 pistons mounted on 1g rods. my oil pump wet bad and my pessure gauge read thet i had pressure. the pistons are scored on the skirts and the cylinder walls were a little scratched. by the way it was only cylinder 1 and 4 the had the problems. i used a hone on the cylinder walls and those are fine because the scoring was very light. my question is if i sanded down the pistons could i reuse them? haha i really justw ant your guys opinions on this. i spent $400+machine work for the pistons and just want a little hope. really i just want the reasssurance that this is a horrible idea.

dont take this the wrong way but would you trust them again with your new motor??? for the price you paid for the evo 9 pistons you could have had a set of aftermarket performance pistons.
