So with the build I'm planning, I expect to be around the 400-500whp range. I'm not sure if I plan on running e85 but it's safe to say I doubt it. I'll be tuning with a 98/99 ECU with ceddymods/ecuflash.

Anyways, a stock maf can't handle much over 400hp so replacing the maf is inevitable. I've come down to either the stock evo 8 maf or the gm maf. Which one is easier to tune? I've read good and bad things about both, so I'm having some trouble determining such. Is it possible to NOT recirculate the BOV with an evo 8 maf? I know you can with a GM maf if placed after the BOV but before the TB elbow, but just seeing if it's possible.

Evo8 MAF or SD, pass on the GM MAF.

You still need to recirculate your BOV with an Evo8 MAF.

I've done some research and it seems SD seems to make sense to run. I forgot all about SD
