Evo 8 injectors and rail. Will it fit???

Will the evo8 injectors fit right into my 2g? Also does anybody know if the fuel rail for that car would fit or even be an upgrade? I found a good deal on these and they are 560cc, just what I'm looking for!

Well I found an article that said the injectors UK ver EVO VIII MR FQ400 are HKS 650's I think it was. I'm not sure about the US ones but you must remember the EVO motors are reversed so the rail would have to be upside down to fit which in turn it shouldn't fit.

Evo injectors are perfectly fine. The injector clip may be modified, but they will fit nontheless. As far as the fuel rail, I dont see a reason why you would want it, the stock fuel rail has gone a long way (think 11's and 10's).

That's about the middle of the road for them. I paid $200 for mine last year and I've seen them from time to time for less than $150. When you consider what other injectors run it's cheap for what your getting.

i got my evo 8 injectors for 50$ had less then 10k on them they drop right in the clip fits no probs but i know a few evo8 and evo 9 guys so i get great prices mine are 560cc im also about to try the evo8 fmic i can get it for 45$ with pipes so it might be worth it if not ill sell it good luck and just keep your stock fuel rail .

Why would the rail have to be upside down?

i have a set of evo injectors in my car (2g) and had no problems with the clips..
I also have a set for sale

If you look at the fuel rail there's about a 45 degree angle from the rail and the part that goes to the injectors. Since the EVO motors are reversed the fuel feed is from the left and not the right to make the rail work (without rerouting your fuel system), you need to flip it around so it feeds from the right. Because of the 45 degree angle up on the rail when you flip it around it would be a 45 degree angle down,right in to your intake manifold.
