Evo 3 turbo

What response will i get if i add a evo 3 turbo to a stock 95 gsx except 3"exhuast, uicp and licp walboro 190. no boost acontrol nothing. I ask because i have the turbo but no complete supporting mods.

no boost control neither.

You need boost control your stock turbo struggles to run at 12psi and the evo3 is just starting to strech it legs at that pressure. You will have to upgrade your bov b/c it will leak after 12psi. Untill then dont install the turbo.

If your turbo is blown, you could install the new turbo and run a line straight from the j pipe to the wastegate. This will keep boost down low enough to be able to run it with stock injectors until you can afford to upgrade. Just make sure you have everything to switch over to the evo first, such as j pipe, oil feed and return line, and water line. An evo @ 10lbs will push about as much air as the t2small will @14-15lbs.
