evo 3 o2 housing question

i bought an aftermarket ebay downpipe and the flange doesnt fit my evo 3 o2 housing. Im currently in the process of turbocharcing my 4g64 spyder. the bolts are to widely seperated to go into the flange on the downpipe. Would i have to cut off the old flange and put on one that would fit?

Pick one:

Buy flange, cut off old one, weld new one one.

Buy downpipe that you know works.

Use a tubular o2 housing off ebay/vendor/etc.
