Makin a DSM club in ohio sounds like a idea, theirs about 7 or 8 of us DSMers here in Huber Heights that are always together, and im sure their are many more around in the Dayton area, seems like the majority of DSMs are in Ohio. :talon:

You're welcome to try, but I fear that the era of successful regional marque clubs is at an end. Too bad, I always had fun hanging out with the local owners clubs. Just can't get enough people together anymore to make it worthwhile. The Toledo DSM club is dropping the webforums and just staying with our small e-mail list of old-timers. Cleveland DSM dropped their forums last year (and just maintains a private e-mail list). Some of us tried to get an Ohio DSM club together again, since the more local ones are dying off, but no go. If you want to give it a try, I'll support it, but just warning you that you're probably going to have a hard time of it!

Hey everybody im new and just wanted to say hey im from Wilmington gettin ready to turn 15 and im buying my brothers friends 91 talon tsi awd:talon: (fp 18g, 880cc injectors, dsmlink, all kinds off stuff:D) Hopefully il have it in the next month or two and then i mite be interested in a local meet somewhere (il just have one of my brothers drive the car:thumb:)

I'm from Kenton but right now I'm at school in Bowling Green. I just sold my 99 GS so I'm currently DSM-less but within the next 6 months I will hopefully have a GSX. I don't know any local DSMers but I think it would be great to all meet up sometime.

hey I live in Cambridge, ohio. I would like to meet sometime. We need to have a dsm meet somewhere like... norwalk? ha! no we need to spread the dsm scene since all the hondas need a whoopin'. oh, and all the cavaliers! we need a dsm carshow.

Hell yea, you should come out to Zanesville on Maple Ave when it gets warmer out, theres a few of us DSMers out here. The requlars on Maple are...about 3 2g AWD talons including mine, an AWD 1g, and my brothers TSi FWD 1g, we beat up on Honduhs, and Mustangs, and Trans Ams, we just have fun.

A few of us are trying to make an attempt to get everyone in Ohio in a local club. This will allow us to get better events and get togethers going in the local area. The web page is Welcome! There are also some pretty decent videos up. I have a ton more to get up there. The whole site isn't complete but it shouldn't be much longer.

i live in ohio i have a 1995 eagle talon stock with a 2.0L DOHC are they hard to turbo i am getting a header down pipe and off road cat.

Have any of you Ohio guys seen a 96 Talon TSi AWD rolling around. Has a 3in. exhaust and looks stock from the outside besides that, with tinted windows. Has slight mods and the interior might be stripped. Also, it does not have the rear wing on it. Let me know. It is my old car. I just wanted to see how it was doing.

Unfortunately, that describes probably a half dozen Talons right here in my end of Toledo alone. You're going to have to try to be a little more specific. :)

Well here are some pictures. And the tails are not blacked out anymore and I forgot to mention that all the emblems are shaved and it has angel eyes headlights.

And by the way the Galant on the side is my friends and it has the rare JDM goodness all over it except for the JDM roof rack. And the 1g on the right was 7 different colors a week before the 07 shootout and it was all roll on paint.

Hopefully those pics help a bit. The hood also has some major rock chips. Like more than usual rock chips.

Just north of Cincinnati here, up in Hamilton. There are or used to be a bunch of DSMers in Cincinnati. Still some but most of them post on Cincy Street Scene - Powered by vBulletin. Some pretty fast ones but the trend around here is build a DSM with lots of stuff, drive it for like a month, then part it out. Oh well, I don't plan to ever sell mine so one day when it has nice stuff, it will stay that way.

Same here. After a couple last attempts to revive the Toledo DSM, we decided to just let it die. The old guys have pretty much sold off all their DSMs and bought newer cars. The new kids that show up usually pop in for a few months, slap a bunch of random expensive performance parts on the car, get frustrated when they're still slower than other ones running around that are much closer to stock, then they blow up the motor, part out the car and disappear.
