i had 97 eclipse spyder, white body with a tan convertible top i saw some kid driving it today.. i miss it, my first car,the car i used to pass my road test with. the car had been in my family for years used to be my sister's car but was past down to me when i was old enough to drive. :( anyone miss their old cars? i named it "Clippy"

I miss mine. Miss my 97 civic coupe with a stroked b18 and a 3076r handing off it among lots of other things. It was my very first car that my parents helped me buy when I was 14 so I could make it a project car. Lots of summers spent in the garage with that.

I also miss my '90 TSi AWD. Very first DSM and loads of fun. Only thing that sucked about my move to PA, is that I couldn't bring either of these cars with me. Had to sell the Talon, and had to send the Civic to my mom and dads until I graduate (about 2 years to go).

My old tibby is just sitting in the driveway. Sold it to my dad when I was 16 and now I've just watched my first car go to hell from lack of maintenence. I'm tempted to buy it back from him and build that ####er up. Those beta I/II motors hold 15-20lbs stock VERY well.

I had a 1997 Eclipse gs. the only thing i miss about that was the gas mileage. Superb! had a few decent mods, wasn't the slowest N/A car but sure wasn't the fastest.

I miss my MR2s for reliability and ruggedness, but I love the DSM just because of how it can actually drive in rain and snow. The MR2 would do fine in rain unless it was heavy, then it would hydroplane in the front. Same thing with other cars even FWD. There are some crappy highways in my area where you can't even do 55 in moderate rain because drainage must have been designed by idiots, and the road surface is smooth like steel-troweled concrete, and it is concrete.

I've had too many cars since i was 14. My first was a Cutlass Ciera. Next car was an 89 Thunderbird Super Coupe. with a 3.8 Supercharged. 5 speed. That ####er was fast. Smoked 5.0 stangs all day with that damn thing. Then there was my 99 F-150 which i dropped a 5.4 lightning motor into and had a badass supercharged 4x4 pickup. So far I love my GSX more than all of those except for the Bird. Only until my dsm starts eating more stangs. It surely handles better but the Bird launched a lil harder.

I miss both my departed 1989 MB 300E and 1998 Buick Park Avenue Ultra. Both rock-solid, unstoppable and reliable cars.

I had a 1995 Talon tsi awd. It had a lot of problems, I bought it as a project car. When I found out the frame was rusting through I was devistated, and had to sell it. Although the car was falling apart I missed it and went in search of another DSM. I now own a 1990 talon tsi awd.

I just recently sold my 1989 Oldsmobile Regency 98 Brougham Edition. It really was a great car and it was my first car so I miss it a little. It still had under 100k miles and was more comfortable then some brand new Cadillacs not to mention it had more luxury features then my brother's Caddy that is over 10 years newer. The other thing I miss about it is having the nice audio system I had. Since the car had no performance value, I didn't care about weight and I love music and audio so I went a little crazy on it. If I ever get a second car again, I will definitely be installing a system in it.

I definitely miss my first car and I regret it everyday. A mint 98 Burgundy with black top Eclipse Spyder GST. Bought it with 75k miles and drove to NJ to pick it up.

My Vette was fun too, but I had to decide between it or the GSX, so I sold the Vette. :D

I also miss my old 92 Prelude that I got free from my sister after she had abused it. I put 90k miles on it and sold it with over 280k miles and still ran perfect. Amazing considering it nearly overheated monthly when I was popping old coolant lines.
And the time when I was warming it up in the driveway and it blew out the oil filter housing O-ring and lost all the oil in the driveway. It was idling like that for about 10 minutes and then I drove it towards work not realizing what happened until it started smelling like oil about 10 minutes later. I drove it back home and pulled into the driveway where I noticed 5 quarts of oil running into the yard. New O-ring and drove for another year or so before I sold it to some young girl for $1500. I would have kept it but the quarters and sunroof were starting to rust pretty good. Amazing car!

I had an '01 Civic EX as well and it was a good car, and then the shocks took a crap because the PO slammed it and didn't keep the stock springs. And to think I traded my one MR2 for that car :ohdamn:

i'm still on my first car. have had my 98 talon for 5 years now and still lovin it. Probably buying a truck soon, but can't even think about selling the car....i'll keep her for a project car once I get the truck. im at 240000km and still pulls pretty good and no major repairs (fingers crossed)

I miss Alot of my cars. Sold them to get something different and did that alot.

90 talon tsi awd, 93 talon tsi FWD. My twins. LOL Sold the 90 then found it in the junk yards a year or so later, then the 93, i have no idea where its at. This was my first car and loved it but sold it cause we had to move.

I miss my 95 TSi. Very first turbo car ever. when I got her, she was a total mess. I spent my whole senior year, from the dead of winter to the day I graduated, building it. I stripped the entire car down to nothing and painted the entire thing right before spring. The paint was perfect, bought some ADR Phantoms to go with it and they fit perfect. Kept the motor pretty stock besides the obvious bolt ons and little tune with a SAFC. I finally got around to lowering her. Drove to Lancaster the day before I gradated to pick up the entire black interior including the leather seats. I spent the night putting it all in and spent the day of my graduation detailing the thing up until the minute I left. I miss that car like no other.

I miss my 98 Spyder Eclipse..
Perfect White Exterior
Perfect Black Leather
*auto .. only problem i had with her.

Bought her when i was 16 years old.. Didn't know ANYTHING about cars or what a DSM even was...
