I was trying to go to the generic eprom code generator. It a link off of the dsm ecu yahoo group. Anyone else having problems getting it to work?

hwnd.org - 1G DSM EPROM Editing

I know this is a lot to ask, but is there anyone on here from Ohio that would be willing to help me out with the whole chip burning thing. I really want to learn how to do this. I just don't know where to start. I really can't find any tutorials on how to use TunerPro. I've figured out that I need to download the .bin file and the .ecu file and open it in TunerPro. I've played with some of the values too. But when I try to save it says there is a mismatch. I'm lost. :hmm:

Also, does anybody know if you can change your MAF settings with tunerPro so you can vent to atmosphere?

Not sure about your question, but as for changing settings to vent to the atmosphere with the stock mas, don't bother.
Get a GM maf or some type of other aftermarket engine managment such as an aem.

I had the same problems until I got a decent XDF and bin. Shoot me an IM on aim tkelly278, or a PM on here with your email and I'll send you my XDF and .bin files and walk you through it. I'll also show you how to properly vent, and ditch the stupid mass air sensor thing all together :D

well I bought my Moates Burn2 last night and a palm running mmcd for logging. Thanks tom for hooking me up with a .bin and .xdf. :hellyeah: I should be ready to burn this weekend. I'm going to start studying the xdf to see if I can figure out what the different values actually do. There are a few I'm not certain on.
