4th Generation Eclipse

Hey guys/gals, I'm sure most of you came across the actual market specs of the 4th generation eclipse... I just wanted to say what a bummer!!! I was so interested with this concept car when it would be for sale but It offers very little.... In the article mitsubishi made a comment about how AWD/Turbo is a thing of the past... This makes me very disappointed and sad... but somehow It increases my pride of owning one of the GSX models... viva la GSX!

they need to keep the body they have, but base it on the evo platform. It would sell like hotcakes.

turbo awd sure is a thing of the past, thats why the evos and stis arent doing well at all, i mean, no one wants those cars.... along with other turbo cars like the srt4, yep, a thing of the past....(hypocrates....) i too was depressed with a 3.8L v6 producing 263 hp, when dodge makes a sohc 3.5 that has 250/250, and the 3L in stealths/3000gts made 222hp, seems like something they would put the mivec or whatever name on would do something a little more than 263...and that 650 watt 10 speaker sound system or whatever is depressing as well, eclipse is about bargine (spelling) proformance not a sound system that will weigh more than the drivetrain system....()... just my opinion tho, maybe you guys will like a large engine in a small car that weighs a lot more than it should...

I want an EVO haha but yes it is sad that they've taken away everything cool about dsm's. Mitsubishi has an awesome car with the evo and i'm looking forward to seeing the Evo 10 which is going to have a new body style or so i hear.

They should have cut the mitsubishi line up after the last of the 99's were made. They ruined it after 99. Good job Mitsubishi.

I saw the new Eclipse at the Detroit International Auto Show back in January. WTF?! I threw up a little in my mouth........Man it was just plain friggen UGLY!!! I'll keep my 2G thankyou very much!
