Hi everyone, I just got myself a motorcycle and am looking for something to drive in the winter and when it rains, would this be a good deal? I'm not planing on doing any mods, just want to keep it the way it is mechanically. I'll probably fix up the interior and paint/rust. If I do get it, what preventative maintenance should be performed as soon as I get it home.

Thanks for your help guys/gals!

EDIT: I really thought I put a title, idk if a mod could change it to something better

You want to buy a used/beat/driven hard Rally style GSX as a DD? WTF

If you looking for purely a DD car, and you must have a DSM platform, get an NA version. They are cheap to buy, cheap to maintain, easy on gas, reliable.

Well, I want something with some power haha, I dont mind working on my car either. and Snow can get pretty bad in ohio so this seemed like something I could use.

He said winter, so I'm thinking he wants AWD which rules out NA "DSMs." The ad has already been pulled from Craig's List, but it seemed entertaining; I especially loved the idea of having thick wheel spacers on a "rally car." In any event, the OP should probably just get a 15 year old Scooby, even if it's sacrilege to say so.

ps. I adore the thread title

Haha, I thought for sure I put a title, I guess I might be retarded. I figured since it was built up for rally and everything is working well I wont be pushing it hard I would be pretty good in the snow.
