ENGINE SWAP >What do I need

i've decided to replace my engine And need to know what I need to change , car has been down since 1st march , new engine has 55,000 miles on it . I have noticed my brake rotors are all rusted , wtf's up with that ?? will it stay like that or go off after braking a couple times ?? Is a gutted car street legal?

Whats wrong with the car? If the damage to the old engine isn't too serious, it might be more economical to recondition the older engine. The rust on the rotors is normal for a car that has been sitting for many months. This rust will wear off on the first drive you take the car out on. If you swap in another 4g63, (that is another STOCK motor) it should be perfectly street legal since nothing really has changed.
