Ok so I had a local guy do a 6bolt swap. This guy is well known in my area for doing DSM's up and has a good reputation. I brought him a full 1g running car with a bad tranny(no second or third gear) the deal was to to take out the 6bolt and put it in my 2g. Straight up swap full 1g motor. So I had him replace the water pump and timing stuff belt etc. So this engine has been sitting for a while b4 it ran 6-8 months, he did a comp test and got 165 across the board. So time comes to start the engine and he said it started real quick ran for a min and shut off now it appears to be seized. What could have gone wrong ? I just don't see how a running engine seizes like that oil pump ?? or timing setup wrong ?? Any input would be helpful. He took the valve cover off and looks fine in there. I had him keep the Balance shaft and replaced the belt Let me know what you guys think this guy isn't shady and has a good reputation for building fast dsms. So I mean people make mistakes but this guy wouldn't cut corners. WTF
