Well I now have the timing done and most of the extremeties put back on the motor. Just waiting for a crank center bolt washer (I lost my old one), thermo kit, and 1 fuel rail spacer (because I lost one of those too) then it's done. Things are really shaping up and I'm getting pumped to drive my car again. It's been 6 months since I pulled it out. I had crazy intentions to have it back together and running after 1 month. That didn't turn out due to school, work cutting hours, and unexpected costs. It's been a long wait and hopefully it will pay off in the end. I couldn't have done this without the help of this website. A big thanks to DSM Tuners and the members that helped me along the way. It's been a great learning experience and I definitely plan on building more motors in the future.

Love the look of the new oil pump assembly/water pump assembly.
Where did you buy everything from? And did you just get a basic head job?

I bought most things from extreme psi because I have had the best luck with quick shipping and low prices with them.

And I had the head decked .012 (I know the service limit is .008 but I have a thick headgasket to compensate), a basic valve job, and clean. Everything was tested and within spec.
