Awesome weather this week! We were able to get alot done while my 2.4 Block is still at the machine shop.
First off, we have pulled the 2.0 out so that we can begin to tear off the head, and pulleys that I will be using on the next set up. I forgot to grab my camera on the day that we pulled the engine, so I do not have any photos to share. (But, if you drive a DSM, I am sure you know what pulling an engine looks like
).
After we pulled the motor, it was time for clean-up to begin. I have pulled the main fuse box from under hood completely out, with plans to run in inside to my glove box. Then, we took off everything from my firewall to begin the prep work for re-painting the engine bay.

Next week, we will be finishing up the engine bay and should be getting the block back from the machine shop, so we can begin build the new motor
