engine noise

i have yet another problem with my car when I'm going up hills and i put my car in a higher gear it makes this clicking sound in the engine could it possibly be a lifter ??

Ticking is not clinking. Can you better describe the sound? How do you know it is in the engine? Have you tried higher gears on the e-way to see if you get the same resulting sound?

well every higher gear like if im in 5th then u can hear it well or could just mean something like a bolt is loose Cause ive had this problem with the exuast manifold bolt keeps unwinding itself loose

Tighten it down then drive around. If it goes away then problem solved. If not give more details in the forum.

ok theres another thing rattling but its behind the engine and its a metal bracket and has vacuum lines that hook to it and well its not bolted to the back of the intake manifold so i was gonna put it back on but was wondering what size are the bolts that go in the holes ??????
