Hello everybody.......
I'm looking to get an engine grounding kit but I don't know WHAT brand is worth the money. Has any one here bought one yet, and is it worth it? Also, WHAT exactly can I expect from it?

Aight homie, I love to use slang alot too, but not in the technical forums. We have to keep the language and style of typing to something we can catlog so that anyone can SEARCH for it and use it and understand it.

With that said. Please type your posts as if you were in school. You'll notice that the moderators have already elimainted slang such as " u r" =your w/ ##.

P.S. I think I'm breaking a rule right now by explaning this whole thing to you so I'll get back on topic.

Grounding kits are real simple man. Pick anyone that you want or are willing to pay for. Make sure if you get one w/ a capictor its mounted horizontally.

NRG, Apexi, HKS, Hyper Ground, or even ebay kits all work. Just make sure your ground points are clean.

Yo thanks a lot Big Rand...So there really isn't any difference in performance from any ground wire kit right... What you pretty much buy is the brand... How about that voltage stabilizer box does that help out much????

when you install it make sure you have an ohm meter handy, some of the points on the car may actually be detrimental to the valtage system i.e. could actually lower the voltage to the battery. also make sure that whatever kit you do purchase has a nice size guage of wire and is also shielded. (some ebay kits arent then you get cross talk between the ground and your spark plug wires on occasions.) voltage regulator box really isnt essential unless you are using some sort of high performance ignition such as an msd box etc. atleast thats what i had experienced while i had my eclipse.

Not worth anything more than $20 shipped. I've made them and sold them. These were a fad totally useless, imo.

How many different ground points can i use for my ground wire kit? and does it really matter how many different ground points i use.

I would like to see some pics of someone actually using this,I thought it was neat when it was a fad but I was afraid to get one because of how it would look, run, and turn out. If anyone has pics of our cars using this can they please post it.

I must have sold thirty of them. Never installed my own. Here's a diagram for you. You can tell how old this picture is...
