Hey guys I was wondering if anybody knew where we can purchase a complete bolt set for our motors, im doing the rebuild and a few bolts got misplaced and a lot of them are old and I do not want to reuse them. So please let me know

As far as I know, no one sells a complete bolt set. You will need to get in touch with the local Mitsu dealer and have them order the ones you need. It's a gruling process. Next time label zip-lock bags and store them there to prevent this headache. :thumb:

I know ARP makes main studs (bedplate to block), head studs (head to block), and exhaust studs; but other than that, you're on your own.

Mitsubishi dealerships are a good place to start (but they often charge outrageous prices and will need to order your parts from a warehouse), so you might also consider calling around to local Chrysler/Dodge dealerships. If they can't help you find the right bolt by engine code (420A), then just tell them it's for a 1996 DOHC Neon.

Most dealerships also have a huge supply of miscellaneous hardware laying around. If you have a truck or some other means to physically bring the block to them, they should be able to source most of the bolts you need.

As a last resort, you can always go to a hardware store with the block and try to find the right parts. Make sure you get grade eight or grade ten bolts; especially for the ones in the more critical locations.

I just say I have an Eagle Talon when I call the Chrysler dealer...only one Mitsu satan here in Alaska, and it's far away LOL You could always go to a local hardware store and replace certain bolts you have that you just don't feel like reusing.
