energy suspension ?

Okay I'm going to do the suspension. I'm going to install the energy suspension kit I bought. I just. Have one question do I leave the metal sleeve in or take it out. I'm also doing the torch method seems to be the fast way if not usinng a press. Well need help.

Take the inner metal sleeve out. Acetylene torch is the quickest while the hand held bottle torches are slow. What you want to do is heat up the bolt sleeve so that melts the rubber around it and then hit it out. After that you'll want to use a sawzall with a metal cutting blade to cut through the remaining rubber and the sleeve.

After it's cut you'll need a chisel and hammer to peel away the sleeve. Grind/sand down any rough edges and nicks and you are good to go.

Which ones are you doing both front and rear?

Fronts for me didn't take long as I just had to change out 1 bushing per side (lower control arm) as I did other suspenion work that came with new bushings. The rear took me a solid day to do 12 bushings.

i did my whole front end in about 15 minutes but i used a shop press to just push the old bushings out.

Turn and push down. Mine came right out. Maybe I was just lucky.

Are we talking subframe bushings or suspension bushings? Those are included in what kit? Do you get all 6 on the front subframe?!
