What is the difference between the Profec B and the B Spec II? I read "built in boost pressure display and optional features like real-time, peak or last boost display (in either kPa or PSI)"... is the display accurate to replace a boost guage? Or should I get a Boost Guage anyway?

Should I stay away from the Spec II (I've been reading software issues with the Spec II)?

I just bought the "type-s" and it worked great until I tried to turn the boost past 25 psi (would not let me no matter where I set the boost/gain knobs)
I called Greddy and it needs to be sent back to them for an "update"
At least they know there is a problem and they will take care of it as soon as I send it. I can live with that.

Alot of the cheaper EBC's can't hold past 20-25psi, the older profec B couldn't either. MOst of the Blitz Dual Solenoid EBC's will hold up to 40+.

Can someone confirm that an EBC can also be used as a Boost Guage (Digital Readout)... how accurate would they be?

Since you 'T" it into a boost source yes it would be accurate.

When I had my Blitz SBC-ID, it would read the same boost as my boost gauge.

Which EBC would you guys recommend considering I plan on using it as my Guage as well? Would be cool if it had a nice display... Any feedback on the Greddy E-01?
