SO it would still be the head gasket if your compressing one cly and it is leaking out the other. If that is what you mean.

And who's that? Only converted one I have seen here is Nate's.

yeah, I am leaning more to the head gasket from where it seals from one cylinder to the other. im not smoking so it may not be too bad for a while. ill just save up and do the head and all timing components and continue with the tuning with E85 later.

Im not sure if he is a member of tuners, he also knows Nate. I believe they met at the track some time ago. But he has been helped out to start up his car at one point by GST2012GSX,myself and Alan I believe has helped him with his SD setup in link.

Nice, I'm always at this subbie and mustang cruise on fridays, let me know how it goes, what color is it? I'll be talking mine out once i get it together and broken in. Never seen what my car runs :(... determined

im not sure on the boost, but he is running a 20g with either 650s or 880 injectors, Magnus intake, 1g TB, fp exhaust, don't know the FMIC brand. tuning wise, I don't know what the hell he did.....

im gonna speak to him to create an account and update his list.

if you go I guess you'll meet him, ill be going as well on my blue gsx.

ah word, never seen it in person, believe I have seen other photos of it. I'll have to hit you up on of these times you all go, what is he pushing to try and get the 13s?

Has anyone pulled there front wiper arms befor??? Cause I feel as if im doing something wrong with the passenger side one.....

Sure have. I removed the entire system and then ended up reinstalling it when I got into rallyX. Are you talking about the linkage or just the arms? For the arm, on a 1g, it's just one 12mm bolt and then it lifts straight up off the spline.

Just giving ev else ry one an update! Got the old motor out of the car and will be pulping out everything else out from under the hood later on durring the week so I can get 8t ready for pain. Just wondering has anyone with a 2g ever pulled there dash? Cause I need to get I t out with out breaking anything and put the new one in. Im really willing to pay someone to do it LOL.

Glad you got the motor out tho! Can't wait till you put your awaiting puzzle together.

Hwll yeah bro I couldnt have done it without you!!! Yeah now its time for the rest of the engine bay to be dismantled so I can get her paint ready. Also if any one would like to o help me inventory parts and see what I need to replace that would be awesome!

Hey guys anybody here have some extra 14b/16g turbo water lines with bolts that can sell for cheap or donate for my GSX. STM and Extremepsi are pretty expensive on that LOL LOL
I have a set off a 16g you can have if you come pick them up. :thumb:

Anyone have a 97-99 transfer case?
Sure don't.

Nate, do i remember u painting ## car on ## own? On a scale of 1 to 10 on difficulty.
What's up Serg! I sprayed my engine bay, hood, and front fenders in a makeshift booth in my garage. The bay was a single stage which wasn't bad. The hood and
fenders were a dual stage and I gotta say, spraying clear in a booth like I had was pretty horrible. It's super sticky and clogged up my ventilation system, my shoes were sticking to the plastic on the floor, I couldn't see out of my glasses, and by the time i was done my eyelids were even sticking together. If you had an actual booth it wouldn't be bad.

I'm going to paint the whole car in the next week or two but this time to avoid the spraying issues I'm going to be doing a roller job. I'll let you know how that turns out. If you aren't familiar with a roller paint job, you can check it out here: A 1962 Ford Falcon Recieve A Budget Paint Job - Hot Rod Magazine

Lol. Thanks Nate. Reason being is Jay wants to paint his engine bay. I was thinking of doing the same to mine should have had it done when i had the car painted. Ive rattle can a Spyder with primer and paint and clear. Taped everything off. Sorry im finally getting excited bout DSMs again!.

I did my bay in just primer and a sealer. It's actually true, prep prep prep and when you think you're done with that prep some more. Something to consider when doing any engine bay is that you have a lot of non flat surfaces and if it's just a little off it'll show. I went the chemical stripper route because something had let go before and ate through the paint. Horrible stuff... I tried media blasting it, but my compressor just couldn't keep up and it gets everywhere. After that I block sanded for high and low spots, filled and hammered some. Because I went down to the bare metal I had to use a etching primer for a good solid base, I think it was like 2 cans of a DuPont etching primer. Then a high build primer, that shoots fairly easy, but the sealer runs rather easily. Also remember you have to cover past what you took off so if you strip past the front frame supports you'll be painting upside down.

Good to see you back Serg.

It turns out I only had one of the 14b coolant lines that Alan needed, the one that goes up from the back, not the one the loops under from the front. He's picking it up today but If anyone has the other line let him know.

Jim, how's she running? You driving her around yet?
