something after the 15th of febuary so i could have my talon up and running
lets set something up. kinda a tour of different places. maybe a museum or lunch or something. any ideas?
on another note. any ideas on a problem im having? just recently installed a race head. bigger cams. now im having surge issues. i changed out the IAC, check vecuum, and throttle body, no CEL, im stumped. any ideas?
I do on my truck, never had any problems with the law, just the yearly state inspections. It makes it a hassle.Any of you guys have dark tint on front windows? Ever get messed with by cops?
I like your idea!
Sounds like a boost leak. How much vacuum is it pulling at idle? Same TB as before?

I need to check my car for boost leaks can someone lend me their tester?
oh and forgot to tell you I swapped the power steering fluid out and put the ATF I Was SUPPOSED to put the first the and my pump works great now!unfortunately no air compressoroh and forgot to tell you I swapped the power steering fluid out and put the ATF I Was SUPPOSED to put the first the and my pump works great now!
sounds great thanks! I just went to buy a screw for it got back the bov whistle and the fluttering sound is gone.
That does sounds much more stable. I would try to lower your idle a little bit though if it will take it. The ISC is a stepper motor and can only control the idle from 750 +/- 100 (so 650-850). If it is higher then 850 then the ISC, even if it working properly, won't be able to hold it steady and you will get some fluctuation in your idle. You can also test your ISC to make sure that it is working by following this: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/400883-need-new-isc.html#post152570600idle was fluctuating betweent 500 and 850 now its at a steady 900-1000! and yes i opened the hood and heard air getting sucked in it was that loud then i noticed the bov was making the hissing sound when i put my finger where the adjustment screw used to be it got sucked in quite a bit. I guess thats where the fluttering was coming from with no tension on the spring.
Grabbed the keys and took it out really quick to get an accurate rpm fluctuation. Its more like 750 to 850 when im at a complete stop is that okay? The ISC is fairly new too so I couldnt figure why the idle was so bad I know now!
great! Just let me know when i can swing by and thanks for the help Nathan what side of town do u live on?
. gotta wait for cobb to verify it so i can setup my launch control tomorrow.sounds good I am super annoyed right now I can't find the right size "T" to connect my boost gauge I finally got one and I can't put it on the hose it came with is dam tiny the hole matches the nipples from the different vacuum lines I'm so frustrated!
