What's up guys. Thought I'd say hi since I'm in between EP and ABQ and Lubbock, in lovely scenic Carlsbad. Only a couple other guys here, and only 1 other than myself that I know of that posts on here. EP is the shortest drive from here, so you all are "local" by default. Gotta love living in BFE. , 3 hour drive in any direction to get to any concentration of dsm people... It just means we are a highly DIY here out of necessity. I rebuilt my car by myself, and I know Isaiah (the other guy here) built his 1g himself in his front yard. There aren't any shops we can take our cars to, so we learn the hard way, and the UPS and FEDEX guys are anticipated more than a kid waiting for Santa Claus. I would like to meet a few other dsm people though, because it sure would be nice to have some backup if something really tough comes up.

Yoshi_Tony, that CAS works great. I had to pot mod it, but it didn't take much to quiet the p0300's and I haven't had a bit of trouble with it since. It sure beats the hell out of screwing around with that damn 95 CAS. Thanks again!

I just called the track they are open this Friday from 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm, VHT is to be determined by the weather though (as in, no VHT if its cold). I just checked and it is supposed to get COLD on Friday. The high on Thursday is 68... The high on Friday is only 49. By the time the track opens it will be dark and probably in the low 40's to high 30's. I still want to give it one last try this season but I may just be wasting my time with a cold track and no prep.

*EDIT - I did some asking around and it seems that drag radials in those temps without VHT will suck. As much as I hate to say it, I might have to wait 'til February when it warms up a little. I'm not for sure yet, but just giving you guys a heads up. Even if I don't go to the track we can still meet up somewhere (warm) and talk DSMs.

4th time taking it to the same guy!

oh well hope he gets it right this time!
im a pro now at swaping alts

wow!!! still with alternator...

i might head down there this weekend again just to try since last week was a bust. Also dec 3 el paso euros is gonna be having a dyno day at the tech school its and AWD mustang dyno. The price if im not mistaken will be 30 for 3 runs. hit me up if your interested.

u know there is an actual shop here in el paso dedicated to dyno called the dyno shack. awd dynojet dyno. off the eastside.

didnt i just fixed your short or was this before because its not the rebuild that who ever did it was who ever installed it and left the positive hit the alternator constantly

UPDATE ON MY TALON

Well ill be putting ramhorn headers hopefully a garret T4 50trim turbo with a Tail 40mm external wastegate by february also fixing my gears but praying to hit 11's with it! tuned with ecu flash

Guys i have a BRAND NEW GATES water pump for sale. I bough it about two months ago for my 60k maintenance and it didn't fit in my 2g.

Extreme psi sent me the wrong part number i ordered a 2g water pump and they sent me a 1g water pump.

Part number is GAT-42163.
Fits 90-94 4g63 eclipse/talon etc.

I ended up installing an oem replacement.

$50 and its all yours.
