there is a local guy wanting to sell a set of eibach's...he claims they are black and sportlines...i thought the sportlines were always red? can someone help me...i know that sportlines won't work on my car becuz i have a rmdsm lip and factory powdered 5 spokes...the drop would be too much

yea no1 seemed to chime in, but yet there are many running eibachs...thanks for your help...are you certain however that sportlines were ever black? maybe i should ocntact eibach or something.

cool, i just wanted to verify that neither models ever changed colors...reason being is my car couldn't take sportlines, so i know that if i spend the money they have to be the prokits...don't the prokits have a 1.2-1.4 inch drop?

They say between 1 and 1.5 inch drop. Mine looks like it was lowered 1/2 to 1 inch at most. Barely noticable compared to my brothers stock springs. Stance looks better. I also have about 250lb removed from my car which makes it sit higher in my opinion.

Pro are black, Sportline are red - unless the guy painted his sportlines black before installing them. Look into H&R springs if you don't want Eibach.

EDIT: I can't type.

thanks for the help....how can you tell if springs are in good condition?
You can't. But springs don't wear out like shocks do. Eibach has life time warranty on their springs, so unless they look damaged, I'd say they are okay.

UPDATE:

i took a look at the springs tonight and they are definately factory black...it says..

i looked up the pro-kit online and i'm getting a number of 6014140?

need some help

Why don't you call or email Eibach? If anyone knows what the number matches up to it's them :) and they can probably do it faster than you waiting around in front of your computer for an answer.

They even have a toll free number. ;)
