The new version of ecuflash is out version 1.44.
Where the heck do I find the read, write and test mode at? I can't rewrite my ecu cause I cant find it? I need to rewrite to go smog my car.

Never mind. Answer my own question.
You click on the sprocket on top (by the folder, disk. and ecu icon) that says Options.
Go to Flash Recovery Mode
Unclick "use flash recovery mode (when available) for flashing
And then all the goodies should pop up on the main page.
