So first off I have a 1991 GSX thought I bought around a month ago. Around 2 weeks ago, I noticed that when I was going up a steep hill and I put the clutch in, the car would die or almost die. I started checking the obvious with no avail (vacuum test was all I got to really). I sent the car to the dealer so he could check out the transfer case and since the guy was really cool I just had him run a diagnostic on it for free.

He told me that my ECU was missing the Drive R for the TPS circuit and that I would need to get it fixed or replaced. He told me the TPS was new and that was fine. Driving the car back from the dealer the car is all of a sudden getting really bad and stalling if I put the clutch at any RPMs above 1500ish. So I bought a used 90 GST ECU off of the classifieds with replaced caps and set it up. Switched the #6 and #14 pins. Ran the car. It works! But wait! About one minute after I start the car up I get a CEL. This happens consistently. I start the car, almost one minute later the CEL will come up every time.

So I get a 12v buzzer and check the error codes. I have a 14 and a 25 which points to my TPS and MAS. Today I figure, the engine won't be ruined if I take it on a drive and see if my original problem was fixed at all any (obviously not). The problem has gotten worse. So my question is where to go from here. Any suggestions?

I forgot to inlcude in the first post. I am now getting a sputtering of the car around 2000rpms since the new ECU. So the engine is definitely having trouble finding where it wants to be. I will go and check those connections, Steve. Thanks for the speedy reply!
