While I was trying to get my 96 car to work with 98/99 ECU, I had to fiddle with injector connectors, and it seems that they got loose.
Basically sometimes one cylinder stops working, CEL comes up, and car hesitates till I fiddle with the wires. After applying some pressure and moving them around things get normal again.
I wonder what I can do about this. I have a spare 97 year plug that seems to be better, but when I tried to swap them it seemed that I couldn't get wires to fix.
Has anyone experienced similar symptoms or knows a good way to fix these connector issues? I was thinking about bending either the ECU pins or pins inside contacts, but I'm afraid to break them off, and I can't figure which way they should be bent.
I would really appreciate a good advice on how to fix this issue.
