ecu pinout for cas and cps?

After my wire tuck im still diagnosing a no start...my ignition wire did heat up and start smoking due to a bad relay yadayada that's fixed now but it did melt some of the insulation which I believe runs right with the cam angle sensor...so now im thinking I have a short so I was wondering if I can run the cam angle sensor straight to the ecu to eliminate any bad or shorted out wire and hopefully it will start.

Well you might be able too it wouldnt hurt if you have a short, go ahead and try that could be a bad wire somewhere. I wouldnt hurt check out vfaq for pinouts.

awesome and those are the signal pins I assume, so id need my own switched 12v and ground correct?

I would assume(not for sure) that if you hung a scope or even a good meter on pin 88 with ign in on position and manually turned the cas you would see something going on. A scope would be preferable. There are ways to test these. Hold on

Ill give that link a try I have to run to the store and get a new ohm meter, do you think the cas or cps has anything to do with a CEL while cranking? It will only come on when im cranking other than that it shuts off. car just sounds dry while cranking but I have my fuel pump connected to a switch. I was reading that a faulty cps can cause the injectors not to open, is this true?

I hardwired the cas and cps to the ecu. pins 88/89 still no start but will crank all day and im still getting a CEL while cranking. so this means bad power transistor? that's the only thing I haven't tested or messed with.
