Ecu Help Needed

I have a 1992 awd turbo laser the ecu when out on it. (6262 non eprom) i went to a junk yard and found a good 90awd trubo talon ecu.(5903 eprom) the care is still not running right. i have switched the 2 wires it ran worst so i switched them back. runs better but not great if anyone can steer me on to the right path i need it so bad thanks for help

it should work fine, the only problem i could see is if the one you got was from an auto. the ECU is swapable between the awd versions but the auto trans and the man trans is not swabable

Correct.

The MD145903 is a '90 Federal Manual AWD ECU.
The MD166262 is a '91-'92 Federal Manual AWD ECU.

Can you tell us more about in what way your car is running poorly and what happened when you swapped pins?

There both awd 5spds.But why not try to get your 6262 repaired.Unless you fried it ,it should cost less than what you paid at the junkyard.Exteme motorsports usually charges between 80.00 to 150.00 if they're really bad.
