2G ECU Eprom Socket

I've been running DSMlink v2.5 for a long time and I've decided to finally upgrade to v3
I've pulled the ecu out of the car, opened it to see it's condition

The ecu looks like to be in good condition to me but looks weird where the the eprom socket has been welded on by the previous owner
Some thin blue wires has been welded on top and underneath the board, where the socket pins are

What are their utility?

Typically the wire wrap wires like that are used to repair broken circuit traces. Perhaps they broke some when they took the old EPROM out to put the socket in.

So I souldn't be worried about it, it always worked like it should anyway
