ECU cause of Knock??

I'm almost possotive that my ECU is bad. Compression is good, but has a little blowby. Ran the car thru third gear today and my logger read 25 counts of knock at 4500 RPM in Second gear. Pulled my timing from 48 degrees to 10, then it bounced back up to 48-49 after knock stopped. Knock lasted about 1.5 seconds and then stopped completely. Very little knock in first gear. Think the knock may have only stopped because I let off the throttle after shifting to third. Might my ECU be causing this problem or is it possibly something else??

I would check the knock sensor. If the black stuff on the back of it comes off on your hands, you need to replace it.

What are your o2's like? For a 1g they should be .86-.87 volts.
