ECU and CAS question.

My car isn't running because it had been sitting for a few years.
I tested multiple sensors, and I have replaced the CAS and PTU. I'm pretty sure I got the CAS in correctly, but is there any way to make sure that it isn't 180 out besides guess and check?
Another question, probably a stupid question, is there any way to bypass the ECU and start the car, in essence testing the ecu.

No, you can't bypass the ECU. It's needed to start the car.
