ecu and transmission question

Is a automatic 95 talon awd ecu the same as 98 5 speed gsx ecu. My other question is are the 1g awd tranmission the same as the 2g. Can I put a 1g transmission in or on a 7 bolt motor. thanks for the help

Hey man,
I know the 1G ECU's are different from 2G's. Also the 95-96 ECU is different from the 97-99 ECU. To use a 95ECU in a 97-99 car, you have to switch the spark plugs wires around. I believe you switch 1 and 2 around, and 3 with 4...............do a search for a better answer, i know there are a few threads covering ECU's
