I have been trying to get this ecu to link up to my laptop but no dice. My question is that everytime I put the battery on the standard lights come on and turn off like ussual. But when i plug the cord from the obd1, the car lets a spark go from the coils then the Check engine light and everyother light turns on??!?!? Do I have a bad ECU or something??

Found out the chip had loosened and was making partial contact! 75 clams to fix and the car runs mint!
