I have a stock 1g should i get ecmlink for it for it? Would it really help me out or should i upgrade other parts first?

For now, I think it would serve you better using that money to upgrade your intake and exhaust. You really need an additional upgrade with ECMLink, a wideband o2, in order to make tuning much more effective, and not so much a guessing game as it is without one. As of now, with a stock 1g, there isn't much you have to play with just yet, your boost will be limited by your fuel pump/injectors and airflow by the stock snorkel and maf. It's a great question and a great upgrade, but I think it'll be best to help your car breathe a little bit easier first :).
