Hello I noticed in cold weather that my eclipse gst has downpipe at end muffler backend it’s apexi drips black soot when I start the car never happen before thanks
 
It's just extra carbon deposits that don't properly burn, and build up in the exhaust. When it goes from cold to hot super quick, it condensates and therefore you get carbon coming out of the exhaust
 
Ok, but it's black because of the carbon. Condensation alone is not black.
Correct.but without condensation, it wouldn't come out of exhaust. The exhaust does not get hot enough to burn carbon deposits. But with water combined with carbon, the force from exhaust pushes out black water
