Hey guys, well I'll start it off this this I have a 98 Eclipse Spyder GST, but long story short, I took my car to a bad mechanic, now I got oil leaking everywhere in the engine, seals are all popping off, we're gonna pull the engine to find out where it's coming from. If I want to save the the car and all, the engine will need to be rebuilt :ohdamn: or replace the seals until they need to be replaced again, so they don't pop out while I'm driving. So rebuilding the engine is what I'm gonna do I guess, but I'm planning on rebuilding it with some stocks parts as well as adding some mods.
When I had the car running before all this, the engine was completely stock. I only had the basic bolt-on mods. I'm looking to having in the 325+ horsepower. I bought 550cc injectors, as well as a Walbro 255 fuel pump. Otherwise I have a GReddy 3 inch full exhaust, GReddy side-mount intercooler, and Injen air filter. That's really about it for mods that can increase power on the car I think. Turbo is stock
Was running about 12 pounds of boost, but the mechanic that messed everything up had it running about 14-15 boost, so it was over boosting as well...

So my question is if I'm hoping to run in the 325+ horsepower, what would be the big parts I should be sure I get first? I was looking to start off with maybe some new rods, fuel rail, and intake manifold. That's just what I thought of so far, otherwise I'm really not sure where I should start. If you guys could help me out, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

Like iugrad said, stock block should be perfectly fine for 325 area. If you already have it out and are looking to do something to it, do 1g rod/2g piston combo. That's what I plan on doing this year and that should be safe up to 500whp or more with a good tune and all arp hardware. As for turbo 16g can do it, but with something around the size of a 20g it would be easier.
