14b turbo, SBR J-pipe. The nipple is on the bottom pipe right near the supra smic. Are these wires hooked up correct?

Looks like a blitz boost controller, if so your hoses are ran wrong. Leave the the RED X open, but plug the intake nipple, and switch around the GREEN Circles. The bottom of the solenoid is the inlet (boost source) and the middle one is the outlet (go to actuator).

This might also help. http://www.blitzpowerusa.com/techsupport/pdf/dualsbc_specs-r.pdf

Now I have a fmic. I have read in 3 different places that when using an EBC you need to utilize the top port of the external wastegate. Any chimmers?

Having a fmic shouldn't change the way your ebc works. Having a external wastegate will use a different setup for the ebc.

From the picture posted above you Tee the right line into a boost source (intercooler piping) and the other end goes into the bottom fitting of the external wastegate.

And the left green circle will go to the top port on the external wastegate. You will have to change the little dip switch on the back of the controller if you do this.

The top port is still not used.

Hope that makes since. I can get pics if needed.
