EBAY knockoff B&M shifter review

This is what i said 4 months ago

Just posting this to tell everyone about the ebay "ralliart" short shifter. I got it for 40 bucks and it is great. It IS the exact replica of the B&M at a fraction of the cost. If i had the money i would have gotten the B&M but its a lil over my budget for just a shifter. This shifter has no side to side play and the shifts are 35 or 50% shorter (its adjustable) like the B&M one. I can's say on how long it will last me but the weld on the shaft seems to be pretty solid. The only problem i had with the install is that the fitment of that "purple part" ( have no idea what to call it -- its the thing that connects the shifter itself to the assembly which is purple with B&M and green with the one i got) is not perfect so i had to grind it down about half a millimeter using a dremel. i will post something a little later about how it is doing, but so far its great.

This is the current review

It is still holding up and shifts fine. It has some side to side play now. It is about 6mm side to side of free play. This is bad but very easy to get used to. I fixed this somewhat by adding a litlle sheet of fibegrlass paper to the shaft which connects she shifter to (the purple thing on the B&M). So far so good. After the fix there is no more play.

The place i got it is 4caroption on ebay.
