Im looking to acquire a set of intercooler pipes for my 2g. I have looked at Dejon tool and many other vendors and im finding to get everything (Uicp, Licp, Couplers, and TB elbow) can get very expensive. I found this set on Ebay for an amazing price:

I was wondering what the down sides of buying these pipes would be? Right now im not looking to make 400whp im just looking to free up some restriction until i can afford a FMIC. Im sure these pipes arent the largest pipes i could find but i would think they would just eat the stockers alive. Im running all stock just starting to mod. For the money does anyone think these would be ok for the time being? Thanks for the feedback.

They look decent enough. But you usually get what you pay for, but they would be better than stock. I would get them until you get a fmic there not that expensive.

I was just wondering but would that flange work with a 1G BOV, ive done some research and mostly i found that the answer was yes but i just want to make sure. Thanks again

I have those intercooler pipes on my car and they seem to work well. The main difference I have found between those and the greddy is the elbow on the ebay ICP is a little more harsh then the greddy, the greddy is more of a curve. Other then that I don't think there is much of a difference compared to that and the greddy one my friend has. The BOV flange is made to fit a greddy type S so I's sure you could mod it to fit your 1G.
One more difference I just remembered. The weld on the ebay ICP is a little rough on the inside not horrible but not as smooth at the greddy.

couldnt you just take your stock UICP to an exhaust shop an have them build you an exact replica except bigger? or would it just be cheaper to do this

You should plan on buying new couplers along with that kit. The crap it comes with it does not work very well at all. I had to replace all of them because once those heat up a little, those don't seal very well. Take it from personal experience.
