ebay halo's

i bought some ebay halo's and they worked great for about a month. now i have one driving light that goes on and the other one is just super dim. my brights are also on but very dim as well. when i turn my brights on all the lights go off except for one bright lights up. anyone know anything about this or is this just a bad investment i made?

That sounds like a wiring or bulb issue.Where did you hook the halo rings up too?My brother hooked them up too the actual headlights one of the rings burt out in like a month.Also did you have to wire at all or was it all pre wired.Cause if you custom wired them I would say something grounded out.

ive installed 2 halo lights for friends, both different types, and both have been good thus far. they are going almost a year, no dimming or bulbs going out. one of them got some condensation not major, but it has been fixed.

I have the newer Sonar brand 2Gb black halo's and one side had a problem with the clip being loose. The metal clip/clamp that holds the H1 bulb is weak and doesn't seat very good.

A friend has the same headlights in the older 2Ga black halo style. One side has the same problem and causes the bulb to flicker.

Sonar seems to be the most popular aftermarket headlight brand. Too bad they decided to shit in a plastic mold and mass market it as a headlight...
