You would seriously buy expensive floor mats knowing you will get them salty and dirty during winter? On most of my cars I buy the $20 rubber mats from Walmart for winter. Then, buy your really nice floor mats for the summer. Even get Eagle embroidered on them to be special.

Don't waste $60 on mats that will get trashed. As ProjectGS said, pick up some nice ones for the summer and cheap durable rubber mats for the winter months. I dont even have mats in my GSX since I only drive it in the summer.

Go to walmart. Youll find floormats there cheaper than NAPA,autozone, kragen, pepboys, etc. This is why walmart will soon rule the world. They even beat prices of automotive speciality stores when it comes to their parts!

Yeah Walmart FTW. The mats are decent and well priced but slide around a lot. I didn't have mats either and got mine from there. By luck though, I found a set of perfect gray Eclipse mats (The front mats even have the Eclipse logo embroidered in them with the hook for the driver's side) off of Craigslist after that. I would even go as far as to buying rubber floor mats, they don't slide around ever.

Good luck

I'm trying to get my girls oem floormats away from her. She was relentless about giving me the rear deck but she gave me it last week so hopefully she'll break on these soon:rocks:

The add does not say whether they are front and rear. I ordered a set from JNZ and they were fronts ONLY. It would be nice to have something in the back seat, even if no one will ever sit back there :)

You can apply two or three spots with double sided velcro so that they will stay put. I wouldn't mind investing $60 for a quality floor Mat that fits well and matches the car well. I've bought universal mats at a store for my Suburban and didn't like them at all.

i have been looking for a place online that sells rubber mats that are made for a dsm, have any of you ever seen this?

i know for trucks many company's make custom molded mats. and since i don't see the point of having carpet that will just get trashed i would love to get some rubber ones that will fit perfectly...

i'll probably just buy some from wal-mart, g*d D@mned wal-mart.... i hate that place but mobile 1 is so cheap there... oh well...

OKay i have a quick question. I am looking to buy some floor mats for my 2g. but i had a few questions. where is the best place to get some nice floor mats. I was looking on ebay and found those ralliart floor mats.... eh.... idk. but then i was wondering is 3g floor mats would fit in a 2g. I was going to switch to black carpet and wanted to get some black floor mats.

Here are the ralliart ones:

Most floor mats that you find will fit in our cars. If you are looking for ones that fit perfectly you can always order OEM ones from the factory. Idk about you but i dont think these do too much. They tend to slide around on me and are the carpeted ones. I too am going to get new ones but am looking for a heavy duty rubber one that i could take out and rinse down if i wanted to.

they will fit but probably not as well as the ones for your year car. The difference is the flaps towards the top of the mat, the one that goes under the pedal. They might be a slightly different design but still should fit into our cars

i suggest finding some heavier rubber ones. They will stay in place in the car and not slide around and look great. Also they are much easier to clean and cannot stain like carpet. To me that is a huge advantage and why i am looking at getting them
