Has anyone bought any of these cheap 200 dollar 16g's with any good or bad results?

Search it out, theres a lot of threads about this with experiences of both good and bad, mostly bad though

they is alot of back and forth with these turbos... some say garbage some say they are good for there money in my opinion there are alittle of both a friend produced 302hp a couple of years ago and loved it but another friend of mine bought one and it was a huge problem right off the bat it ended up leaking oil and all the parts to rebuild it cost as much as a new one because the shaft is larger then a real one but the seals are the same... all in all i would stay away from them but thats just my opinion.

thanks I thought it would be to good to be true. I guess I will stick with my original plan to build a fp68hta combo. I am new to the DSM but still know you get what you pay for.

My friend just bought one off there because his last 16g finally blew. He bought it for 243.00 I believe. They turbo was in perfect condition. He bought it off some guy who was parting out his evo. I guess it's all about doing your search. You can find these turbo's everywhere and people put them in the car and then get bored with it and swap for a larger turbo and sell their old ones. Just got to know who your buying from. I think my friend got lucky with his but you never know.
