Easy question about dsmlink ecu

I have a 98 tsi awd w/ a 5-speed and ABS. I want to use a dsmlink for tunning, I know I need a 95 eprom ecu. Does it matter if the 95 ecu came from an automatic car? Or if it did not have ABS? If so, what other things need to be the same?

Any 95 eprom ECU will do. ABS is controlled by a separate computer, same with the auto trans.
